Returns

If you return an item to us within 14 days in perfect condition, complete with the original packaging, we will be happy to exchange or refund you the original price, excluding the cost of postage and packaging. This does not affect your statutory rights.

You must make your own arrangements to return goods to us and you will be responsible for the cost of return. We recommend that you appropriately pack goods to avoid damage in transit and obtain proof of postage using an insured parcel service, such as Royal Mail Special Delivery. You are responsible for the returned goods until they arrive in our shop.

Please ensure that your contact details (name, address and phone number) are included, and that the parcel is clearly labelled. It is important that you retain proof of postage as we cannot issue refunds for items we do not receive.

Returning a sale item

If you would like a refund or exchange on a sale item, please return within 7 days of receiving your item.

Returning a faulty item

In the unfortunate event that an item is faulty please notify us by email: enquiries@smilnerandson.com or telephone us on 01664 454839. We normally require the item back for assessment and often is has to be sent back to the manufacturer for inspection. It is essential that the item is in a clean and dry state to comply with Health & Safety Laws.
