Acceptance
When you register with our website and make a purchase from this website, you are indicating that you agree to be bound by our terms and conditions (your statutory rights are not affected). Please read them carefully and print a copy for your records. We may at anytime revise these terms and conditions without notice. It is up to you to ensure you regularly review and reprint them for your records as necessary.
Our Contract (Order)
The information we seek from you when placing an order is for billing and delivery purposes or for contacting you if we have a query. When placing an order to purchase goods from www.smilnerandson.com you will be sent an email confirming receipt of the order and the order details. A contract between you and S.Milner & Son will only take place once the order has been accepted, processed and items despatched, at which point your credit/debit card will be charged.
Payment
CREDIT or DEBIT CARD - We accept all major credit cards (excluding Diners Club Cards or Amex/American Express). Cards are not debited until goods are despatched.
GIFT VOUCHER – We regret that vouchers can only be redeemed in store.
Security
We accept online payments through a secure server by credit or debit card and transactions are shown in Pounds Sterling. Do not email your card details. No responsibility can be taken for security if you provide your details in this way. Card fraud is illegal and will always lead to prosecution. We do not accept any responsibility for any paperwork, payment or goods you send to us in the post.
We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online. ,/span>
When you shop with us, our secure server encrypts all of your personal information, including name, address. We use Sagepay who are an industry leader in secure internet transactions.
Pricing
All products offered for sale by S. Milner & Son are priced in Pounds Sterling and include UK VAT at the prevailing rate where applicable. Any customs or import duties due when your package reaches its destination country will be your responsibility
Every effort is made to maintain the prices quoted on the website, but this is not always possible. We reserve the right therefore, to discontinue any item, and change prices where necessary. If an item has a price increase after you have placed your order you will be contacted by e-mail or telephone to let you know. If the price is lower you will not be contacted but will be charged at the lower cost.

Availability
We try to hold stocks of all styles for active products, however occasionally an item will be out of stock, if this is the case we will inform you. You will be given the estimated delivery date of stock or given a suggested alternative. All delivery dates are estimates and are subject to availability.
Some items may be shipped direct to you from our supplier in order for you to receive your chosen items as quickly as possible. This means that you may receive your order in separate parts, but will not incur any additional carriage charges (unless otherwise stated or notified by email prior to despatch).
We cannot be held responsible for compensating you for any losses you may suffer if we do not supply the goods.
Special Order Items
All items ordered specially such as those sourced outside our usual stock, those with personalisation or custom made items are non-returnable. This includes items that you have been informed will be late, but you have confirmed you are happy to wait for. Cancellation must be made before the order is processed.
Offers and Promotions
Please note that when participating in our offers or promotions, they cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer. If free postage is offered, it applies to a Standard Delivery only and excludes quoted and overseas deliveries. S. Milner & Son reserve the right to amend or withdraw promotions at any time, should circumstances change.

When using the website, you are responsible for ensuring that your account details and passwords remain confidential and you agree to accept responsibility for all activities occurring under your account and password. We reserve the right to edit or remove content, refuse access to the website or cancel orders at our discretion. If we cancel an order, it will be without charge to you and you will be notified immediately.
